The following page provides an example of the services we offer and provides indicative pricing. If you require a service that is not listed, or would like a quote, please contact us.

Please note: The value of the pipe does not impact the cost of the work; the costs are calculated on time and cost of materials.

Restoration

Every restoration is different, but most fall in to one of the following categories:

Moderate refurbishment (from £24)

We de-oxidize the stem, ream the chamber, clean and sanitize the internals, and buff with carnauba wax and moderate rim refurbishment..

Full refurbishment (from £36)

Normally reserved for pipes that have had a hard life. The pipe is stripped back and contrast stained as appropriate, the reconstruction of lost material (rims for example), vulcanite fills, heat damage to chambers and any other cosmetic issues.

Hand cut stems (from £70)

Pipe stems are often overlooked, and yet a good pipe with a bad stem is never going to smoke well. Additionally, with the artisan pipe market developing, stems are becoming more intricate and, from an aesthetics perspective, are very much an integral part of the pipe's design that can't be replicated with a molded stem. Hand cut stems are made from high quality German Ebonite/Cumberland rod, are highly resistant to oxidization, and are hand crafted from beginning to end. Precisely made to your specifications.
